Do I need to have an idea to apply to the Fellowship?

A full-fledged idea is not needed to apply. Please apply having chosen an issue you’d like to address and a preliminary idea. If you’d like help with this process, please contact Sarah Cohen at [email protected] or by phone at 720.541.9272.

What makes a good Fellow?

Fellows are Jewish high school students who display the following characteristics:

  • Committed to pursing an idea that will engage, leverage, and inspire their community
  • Interested in learning valuable tools and making important connections
  • Appetite for innovation
  • Open to feedback and change
  • Willing and able to participate fully in all components of the program

Who decides who is admitted to the program?

PresenTense Colorado is a community-based program, and therefore, decisions will be made by our Student Advisory Board and Steering Committee. These groups are made of up community members with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and experiences. They are all passionate about in furthering innovation and engagement in Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas.

Are there other ways to get involved if I don’t want to apply as a Fellow?

Yes! If you’re a student, you can join our Student Advisory Board. If you’re an adult, you can volunteer as a Steering Committee member, Subject Matter Expert, or Coach. Feel free to join our mailing list to stay informed about the Fellowship happenings, attend our Fellow Showcase, or contact us to learn about other ways to get involved with the program.
