Dr. Rachel MeyerSchool Psychologist at Denver School of Science and Technology

    Dr. Rachel H. Meyer received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Special Education from Temple University, and a Masters Degree in Counseling. After attending The University of Denver for her undergraduate degree, she moved back to Cleveland, where she is currently from, before moving back to Denver to work in mental health and later to Philadelphia for her doctorate. Realizing that Denver was where she wanted to be, she made her back out there in September 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. Currently, she is a School Psychologist at DSST (Denver Schools of Science and Technology) for the Cole Campus and she loves what she does. Rachel, and her therapy dog Lily (a Standard Poodle) have spent a lot of time volunteering at local colleges, nursing homes, hospitals and of course Lily goes to school with Rachel to hang out with the students (and the staff) on a pretty regular basis. Rachel has been an active member of the Cleveland Jewish Federation since she was a young child and went on to serve as a chair of the High School Division and sat on the board of the Young Leadership Division (YLD) prior to moving to Denver. Additionally, Rachel has been affiliated with PresenTense in both Cleveland and Philadelphia in a variety of ways, from being a part of the executive committee, steering committees, a mentor, and most recently a coach.
