Emily Winograd leads UpStart’s Design Services division, working with a diverse array of Jewish institutions to accelerate their impact through innovation. She is delighted to partner with UpStart’s clients to revitalize their communities and access new audiences through the power of design thinking.
Emily previously served as Vice President of Programs at PresenTense, where she applied her knowledge of the product development cycle to the company’s program strategy, launching exciting new offerings and putting a fresh coat of paint on landmark programs. In this capacity, she designed and facilitated workshops on social entrepreneurship for audiences of all sizes, with a consistent focus on locating the Jewish heart of social impact.
Emily holds a BA in Sociology from Barnard College, a BA in Bible from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and a certificate from the premiere design and consulting firm, IDEO.
